You will get involved in a wide range of project work from day one, and will work directly with highly experienced senior employees, including attending site visits and meetings.
CPD
We will support your continued professional seminars on the hot topics in the sector.
Appraisals
We hold annual appraisals with six-monthly reviews to identify performance objectives and competencies/skills for development.
Technical Development
Through on-the-job teaching and any appropriate transport planning software training.
In House Training
You will join our workshop series that spans your first two years and covers the keys areas of knowledge.
External Courses
You will be invited to attend the popular 20-week lecture series ‘Principles of Traffic and Transport’ and relevant external training courses.
Professional Qualification
All our graduates are supported towards a relevant and recognised professional qualification. We are stakeholder members of the Transport Planning Society (TPS) and our team includes trained mentors for the PDS and TPP qualification programmes. We provide considerable financial rewards to our employees who achieve professional qualifications.
Young Professional Day
We hold a practice-wide annual professional training day which will include sessions relating to the running of the business, project case studies, and the development of soft skills.
Social Activities
The bond between our team, within your office and across the practice, is very important to us, and this is encouraged through regular social events – recently we have arranged team activities including walking treasure hunts, escape rooms, darts, mini golf, a high-speed rib ride on the Thames, softball in the park, meals out, and charity days – we are always open to new suggestions!
