Test Valley Borough Council has resolved to grant planning permission for the erection of a new Garden Centre, Post Office and Café in Weyhill, to the west of Andover. The 218 car parking spaces for the Garden Centre will be accessed from a new ghost island junction on Amesbury Road, while the existing access will be retained for use by service vehicles. Work is due to start on site toward the end of 2015, with the Garden Centre due to open for late Summer 2016.

On behalf of Rosebourne Limited, i-Transport LLP developed the access proposals for the development, prepared the Transport Assessment and Travel Plan for the planning submission, and provided technical assistance to the design team in relation to the car parking and servicing arrangements.
