For the second year, i-Transport’s London office helped out at the Ronald McDonald Evelina House.
Ronald McDonald House Evelina London is a purpose-built 59 bedroom Ronald McDonald House at Evelina London Children’s Hospital, part of Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust.
The House is a free ‘home away from home’ for the families of children being treated at the Hospital. It has been developed with a significant contribution from Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust, and Guy’s and St Thomas’ Charity provided the land. We already had a 20-bedroom House near London Bridge, our Guy’s and St Thomas’ House, but the number of families needing accommodation already far exceeded what we could offer.
i-Transport staff spent the afternoon cooking starters, mains, and desserts, for the families to enjoy at the end of a long day.
