Phil Hamshaw, Associate Partner in our London office, recently attended the official opening of the Peters Bridge crossing in the Medway Valley, Kent. The new bridge which spans the river Medway and the railway line provides a key piece of infrastructure facilitating the development of a new residential community, Peters Village. The development of 1,000 homes, Primary School, Doctors Surgery and other local facilities has been many years in the planning with i-Transport LLP having provided transport planning advice. The new crossing links the development with strategic road and rail infrastructure and connects the existing communities on the east and west banks of the Medway river.
