Wakefield Council has resolved to grant planning permission for a 300 dwelling residential development at Ashfields, Normanton subject to conditions and the completion of the legal agreement. The development, proposed by Taylor Wimpey, will be served by a single access. i-Transport LLP prepared the supporting Transport Assessment and Travel Plan for the planning submission, as well as providing technical assistance to the design team in relation to the design of the internal road network. The development is in proximity to the M62 Junction 31 and detailed assessments were carried out by i-Transport LLP as part of discussions with Highways England.
