i-Transport are pleased to have been part of the Tilbury2 project team which has been named Project of the Year 2019 by the National Infrastructure Planning Association. Congratulations to the Port of Tilbury and the entire project team. i-Transport provided highways and transport advice throughout the scheme development and planning phases which culminated in the DCO examination during 2018. The development consists of the creation of a new port on the River Thames along with supporting road and rail infrastructure providing a substantial expansion to the overall throughput, with largest aggregates terminal in the UK. The DCO was granted in February 2019 and construction is already well underway.
