i-Transport are pleased to announce that on 16 December 2021 Buckinghamshire Council’s Strategic Sites Planning Committee resolved to grant planning permission for the expansion of the world-renowned Pinewood Studios site to deliver Screen Hub UK, comprising new film studio space, a skills and training hub, a business growth hub and a major film inspired visitor attraction. We are thrilled to be part of the team to deliver such an exciting project to provide world class facilities, a £355 million boost to the UK economy and create over 3,500 jobs.
Following a comprehensive Transport Assessment, the proposals will also bring forward major highway improvement schemes in the area alongside a comprehensive sustainable transport strategy, providing considerable benefits to the operation of the road network and for local communities.
