i-Transport is delighted to have been part of the team which assisted Taylor Wimpey achieve a resolution to grant Outline planning consent (subject to the completion of a S106 Agreement) at Leeds City Council’s City Plans Panel on 6 August 2020 for 800 new homes, a Primary School and local convenience store at Land off Racecourse Approach, Wetherby. The proposed development forms part of a wider allocated site which will ultimately deliver c.1,100 new homes. i-Transport has advised Taylor Wimpey over the past three and a half years on the transport strategy for the site, with point of access and transport sustainability being particularly contentious issues locally.
We now look forward to working with Taylor Wimpey and the project team to develop the detailed proposals for the site and to release the development vision.
