Planning permission was granted to deliver improved sports facilities through the provision of an all-weather sports pitch, along with associated sports pavilion and expanded car parking at Highfield and Brookham Schools in Liphook (www.highfieldschool.org.uk).

The improved sports facilities will provide a benefit for the pupils at the school, but also for local hockey teams who will be able to use the pitch for training and matches.

i-Transport provided highway and transport advice on the scheme ensuring all users can safely access the pitch and identifying that the proposal would have no significant adverse impacts on the local highway network. The design team have worked closely with the Local Planning Authority to ensure that the new facility will make a positive contribution to the campus and is sensitive to the South Downs National Park setting.
